Our Children Are Looking For Your Support
A child's unfortunate circumstances should never define their future.
Dr. Newberger and Friends of Children have engaged in a similar mission for years: To care for and protect children in the foster care system who cannot protect themselves.
- Your donation ensures that we can train and support the volunteers who are central to advocating for our CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) children and youth.
- Your donation ensures that we advocate for child welfare reforms statewide.
- Your donation ensures that young people, like Eva, (in the video below) have the opportunity they deserve to thrive.
Excitingly, Friends of Children is expanding into the Greater Boston area to build a stronger foundation for our work and increase our policy impact on behalf of more than 12,000 children placed in foster care in Massachusetts and 2,200 who age out of care each year.
Change for foster children is a slow and intricate process, and we are in it for the long haul. Together, with your support, change for these children is possible.
